Ho Chi Minh City, June 19, 2025 – Within the framework of the seminar “Edge AI – The Era of Smart Connection to Every Device,” HSPTek Technology Joint Stock Company and Vbee Joint Stock Company signed a strategic cooperation memorandum to develop high-quality Vietnamese AI voice technology directly on devices.
According to the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to implement a fully offline Vietnamese text-to-speech (TTS) technology integrated directly into the AI Box KIMQ 6490 developed by HSPTek. This solution enables smart devices to communicate by voice without relying on an internet connection – an important step toward automating human-machine communication in many fields such as smart homes, IoT devices, industrial systems, and smart cities.
At the event, HSPTek also introduced a model for developing an Edge AI ecosystem based on an open platform, including open-source software, open AI models, and open hardware design. This approach aims to make it easier for software developers, system integrators, OEMs, research institutes, and universities to access technology faster, reduce development costs, and speed up the commercialization of AI edge products.
Representatives from both sides evaluated that this cooperation will help promote the widespread use of Vietnamese voice technology “Make in Vietnam,” enhance the competitiveness of domestic smart devices, and play an important role in the national digital transformation strategy.
The event was supported by Qualcomm for technology and InnoEx for community connections – two key players in promoting the AI ecosystem in Vietnam.
